You can also upload your video review on AskMe and stand a chance to meet Rocky and Mayur.”
Being a food blogger I keep searching for new places where we can eat, and spend some quality time as family and one such place we found is the casual dining restaurant Zingo Star in Greater Kailash II M Block market. Tucked away amongst other cafes yet standing out is Zingo Star – your neighbourhood cafe! With rustic Americanised interiors, Zingo Star is your home away from home. Did I hear you say Rustic with a question mark? Well it is rustic with no bone china or ceramic cutleries. In fact plates, glasses and even the serving bowls seem just straight out of American homes just to give you that home away from home feel.
So when we settled down for our food we were told that Wings is Zingo’s speciality so we ordered them first. While we were waiting for our order Chef Sushant Bishal told us that they have given Delhi’s favourite and ubiquitous ‘chicken’ a brand new avatar-Chicken Wings. He says that these chicken wings are not only succulent and juicy but also comes in sauces ranging from Medium to suicidal. The middle range being very very hot. Normally I wouldn’t use the term very to describe anything but in this case that’s how they describe their sauces, which are made in the restaurant.
Although their other dishes are equally worth trying but their chicken wing is one of the must try! Despite being flavoured with a slightly spicy sauce, Prince A just loved it. Mini burgers are another dish on the platter that one must try if you love your burgers, as the buns used for burgers are not buns but pao that are freshly baked and so soft that they melt in your mouth.
This apart, Zingo Star also serves variety of American food ranging from mini-burgers stations to regular burgers, from Poutine to pasta, from salads to pizzas, from milkshakes to cocktails and many more for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. In addition, the cafe has free WiFi as well so if you are bored at sitting at home then just head to Zingo Star T GK II M block Market for some great food and time well spent.
